About us
Spinifex Traffic Control has been supplying the Northern Rivers region of NSW with traffic management services including supply of vehicles, signage, equipment, traffic personnel as well as the design and implementation of Traffic Control Plans since 2007.
We have two roles available in our Traffic team. An exciting opportunity awaits in our brand-new Byron Bay office to join our well established Traffic Control team to work alongside our strongly performing existing contracts.
About the Roles
The Traffic Coordinator and Administration Officer, will both be involved in the successful recruitment, operation and safety of the Traffic team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Onboarding of new traffic controllers
- Coordination of daily work requests and rosters
- Managing invoices, SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) and audits
- Managing vehicle maintenance
- Following recruitment QA policies and procedures
The Traffic Coordinator will also:
- Oversee the creation, storage and advice on appropriate Traffic Control Plans and Worksite Plans
About You
These roles are fast paced and high volume, so to be successful ideally you will have previous experience in a high-volume operations or logistics role with previous experience in scheduling/rostering or coordination of high-volume activities.
In addition, you will need the following skills:
- Be resilient and calm under pressure
- Workforce Management
- Account Management experience highly advantageous
- Thrive on multitasking throughout an ever-changing day with the ability to use your time management skills to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent computer literacy, written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to engage with existing and potential customers and build effective relationships
- Strong administration skills to keep the database up to date
Whilst prior experience in Traffic Management would be an advantage, it is not essential, and full training will be provided.
