Minimum Requirements

• Valid Traffic Controller (TCR) Ticket
• Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP) Ticket
• White Card
• 5 Watt Radio and Traffic Control Bat

Your Role
As a Traffic Controller, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing traffic flow around disruptions such as roadworks, accidents, building sites, and planned maintenance.
• Setting up and removing temporary road signs, working alongside other Traffic Controllers.
• Guiding pedestrians safely through altered traffic conditions.
• Using radios to communicate with fellow Traffic Controllers and Council Teams
• Taking instructions from supervisors, construction managers, local authorities, and emergency services.
