We are looking for a motivated and reliable Swimming Pool Technician to join the team at Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding the high standards of quality and ensuring that the all facilities within the Tweed Shire remain in pristine condition for valued patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional pool service by delivering clean, chemically safe, and well-maintained swimming pools across all sites within the Tweed Shire
  • Proactively identify and resolve any challenges that arise during service, applying problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, chlorinators, pool cleaners, and heat pumps.
  • Handle and lift heavy items, such as salt and chemicals, in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards. (Must be able to lift up to 25kg.)

Requirements:

  • Pool Operations Certificate (essential).
  • Availability to work across 7 days a week, including evenings until 7pm.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of pool equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to handle and lift heavy items safely.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Work a 7 day roster, with working hours up until 7pm
