Our Client

KM & JL Norrie run an Australian family owned and operated mixed farming enterprise, which focuses on intensive sheep breeding with 7,500 Merino and first cross ewes, prime lamb production, and is complimented by 6,000 acres dedicated to broadacre cropping including canola, wheat, and barley.

The Role

As a Stationhand, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of this agricultural enterprise. Working as part of a skilled team, you will contribute to various aspects of farming operations, ensuring the efficient management of livestock, crops, and machinery. This role is located near Forbes, NSW and is a full-time permanent role.

About You:

  • Prior experience in agricultural or farming operations preferred.
  • Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license required, truck license desirable but not essential.

Duties include:

  • Operate machinery for sowing, ploughing, spraying, harvest, and grain handling.
  • Hands-on stock management
  • Utilise modern equipment and facilities.
  • General farm maintenance and repairs
