What We're Looking For
Farm Hands - Wallal Downs Station
- Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help grow lush hay and silage at Wallal Downs! As a Farm Hand, you'll be right in the action, assisting the Farm Manager across twelve 48-hectare pivots. From operating and maintaining plant and equipment to handling cattle with care and managing pivot grazing, this role has something for everyone who loves hands-on farm work. We're after someone with a positive attitude who can confidently handle a two-wheel motorbike and is comfortable with basic record keeping.
Station Hands - Warrawagine Station
- If you're ready to get hands-on in the world of cattle work, our Station Hand roles at Warrawagine could be perfect for you! You'll dive into every part of cattle handling, from mustering and drafting to feeding and watering, all while working with motorbikes and learning Low Stress Stock handling. This role offers plenty of variety - you'll operate machinery, handle property maintenance tasks like fencing, and help keep essential records. We're looking for people who are eager to learn, can work well on their own, and follow directions.
Please note:
- 88-day visa holders are not suitable for these positions. However, longer-term Working Holiday visa holders with prior livestock experience are welcome to apply.
- Warrawagine Cattle Company has a strict no pet policy.
Whether you're a seasoned hand or a junior looking to make your mark, these roles could be just what you're looking for. Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability or for further details contact Anna Brown on 0427 644 527 or Kate McKittrick on 0409 393 696
