Site Administrator

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Site Administrator to join Spinifex Recruiting working on the Culcairn Solar Farm, located 30 minutes north of Albury/Wodonga NSW.

The company building the Solar Farm is Bouygues Construction. They are a civil engineering company and provide world-class services in building, civil engineering, earthworks, renewable energy, and mining services.


The Opportunity

This is a casual role, working Monday to Friday, approximate hours 7:00am-16:45pm & every second Saturday 8:00am-12pm.

This position will suit someone willing to get their hands dirty and enjoy the variety of working in the office and walking around on site to speak with candidates and the client.

Safety is paramount and as a Spinifex employee, we need someone who understands the importance of safety, has a safety background and has worked on a construction site previously.

Duties:

  • Ensure all workers are safe on-site and escalate issues with Supervisors and Foreman's when needed
  • Ensure all workers attend the daily 'pre-start' meetings
  • Manage all PPE equipment - damaged, lost, replacements.
  • Use the CRM database to communicate with all workers in bulk
  • Organising bus routes for workers on-site
  • Ensure any incidents are managed correctly and incident Reports are completed
  • Complete 2x Safety Observation Forms and 2x Safety Interaction Forms per week
  • New employee induction
  • Ensure timesheets are accurately submitted and delivered to the Superintendent for approval
  • Assist the Project Site Manager with adhoc tasks
  • Attend weekly Client meetings to discuss new orders/starters

Requirements

  • Valid White Card and Drivers License
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Administration experience and strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience in work-force planning
  • Experience with WHS management and Quality Assurance is highly desirable.
