Service Technician (Electrical)

Job description

We're recruiting for a highly successful US-based company who are expanding their customer base in Australia. With an impressive range of the latest technology in automation equipment, you will support clients who have businesses including warehouses, storage facilities, distribution centres / logistics, manufacturing and production facilities.

The Service Technician will have an important role in supporting existing customers in Greater Sydney with high levels of ongoing technical service and support. Occasional travel to major regional centres like Newcastle may be required.

You will get to significantly manage your own schedule and get time to spend with your customers to provide them with service and confidence. Training and product support will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess an A Grade Trade Electrical Qualification

  • Five years of relevant experience as a service technician or electrician (or similar)
  • The ability and willingness to occasionally work irregular hours to handle peaks in workload.
  • The ability to clearly communicate in English - including preparing site reports
  • Total commitment to quality customer service and job ownership.
  • Drivers license.

This is a company that truly cares about it's workforce and has a great company culture. Some international travel may be required for training and development purposes. A base salary of between $115,000 and $125,000 will be offered (excluding superannuation). Overtime is also paid. A vehicle allowance will also be paid.
