The Organisation

This is a large organisation based near Parkes in Central West NSW. With a large workforce, the organisation is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Officer to join them in a full-time, permanent role.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic team and with an influential and dynamic Manager. Responsible for an HR Recruitment Officer and a Learning & Development Officer, the role is engaging, challenging and varied, being involved with strategy as well as operations.

The Role

Partner with the business to provide advice, guidance and support on all people-related matters within the HR field. This role forms a key part of the HR function.

You will undertake HR, IR and Organisational Development projects including workforce management functions, change management initiatives, business improvement, employee pipeline initiatives, and resourcing. Managing two team members, you will also be responsible for day to day HR management functions including high quality recruitment and selection processes, including on-boarding.

Additionally you will facilitate HR, IR and employee relations functions to grow positive internal relations. Also, you will provide expert advice in all areas of HR strategy and implementation to GM level and Senior Leadership.

About You

With a Bachelor Degree in HR, Business or a related subject you will have at least five years' experience in a generalist HR role within a medium or large organisation. You will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of broad HR and Organisational Development functions including employment legislation, employee/industrial relations, awards, change management, talent management, rem and bens, recruitment and selection, policy development and workers compensation.

With successfully delivered projects behind you, and high levels of written and verbal communication skills, you will be able to converse with people at all levels effectively and confidently, both remotely and in person.
