Dragonfly Agriculture is a family-run business managing 8,000 acres of dryland cropping across four properties in prime agricultural country, located 85km south of Goondiwindi, QLD, and 65km north of Moree, NSW.

About The Role

We're looking for someone skilled in broadacre cropping who thrives in a hands-on, team-focused environment. You'll help oversee daily farm activities and step up when needed to lead the team. You'll be involved in:

• Machinery operation (seeding, spraying, harvesting)
• Mechanical repairs, maintenance, and workshop duties
• Using technology to improve farm efficiency
• Welding, fabrication & mechanical troubleshooting
• Repairing and maintaining farm infrastructure
• Supervising seasonal staff during peak periods
  

What You'll Need:

• Practical farm experience (cropping & machinery)
• Strong mechanical skills - experience with machinery repairs, servicing & maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A keen interest in modern farming practices
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• A self-starter with great time management skills
• Driver's licence (truck or machinery tickets are a bonus!)
• A love for the land and an appreciation for farm life
