Our Client
'Bongongo' and 'Mt Oberne' are privately owned and operated Australian family properties, covering over 10,000 acres. These properties focus on livestock growth and sustainability for market sales. All end-to-end operations, including breeding, birth, market readiness, property maintenance, business operations, and bookkeeping are handled internally. The farm has a long history of success and is seeking the right candidate to help grow, maintain, and modernise its operations for continued success in the future.
The Location
Accommodation is provided at 'Bongongo' in the Adjungbilly area, 45kms from both Tumut and Gundagai and half way between Sydney and Melbourne. There is a primary school on the doorstep and buses to high schools in both towns.
The Role
The Property Manager's role is to effectively oversee and manage the daily operations and staff at both properties, ensuring their smooth running while implementing modern technologies and processes. This role aims to transition the properties into a more efficient and technologically advanced stage, setting them up for future success and sustainability. The Property Manager will also focus on business analysis, strategic planning, and budgeting to drive growth.

The Key Responsibilities include:
- Engage in practical, hands-on tasks to support daily station activities
- Lead station staff and contractors, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Manage all day-to-day operations, property-related activities, and quality of livestock and pastures.
- Liaise with contractors for machinery, fencing, veterinary services, helicopter spraying, and stock management.
- Implement modern technologies and develop strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
