This large architectural and design firm is growing it's Brisbane practice. They lead complex projects in a wide variety of sectors and industries, and are known, amongst other things, for their design excellence.

The Opportunity

The Brisbane studio is growing, and this presents an opportunity for an experienced Project Architect to join in a hands-on senior role, where you can move into more of a leadership role in the future.

The Role

On joining, your remit will be to lead projects (initially multi-residential, but also hotels, commercial and healthcare) from start to completion, leading teams, working closely with builders, technical design and more. Whilst you will work on the early phases, the initial project will require your skill set and experience to be well-aligned with construction.

About You

As an experienced Architect (min 10 years' experience), you will be someone who has sold experience leading the delivery of multi-residential projects through tender / construction / site in Queensland.

You will have strong technical knowledge and a passion for design and architecture (with past experience in a design focused studio).

With a proven track record of navigating negotiations with consultants and builders you will have a comprehensive understanding of building regulations and codes, and able to lead the production of rigorous documentation.

The environment is collaborative and supportive, and you will naturally fit into this environment, where the mentoring of junior architects is a part of the role.

From a technical perspective, you will be literate with Revit.
