About the Role:
This position is within the Ore Processing Department where you will report to the Senior Laboratory Technician. You will work towards processing, analysing, and reporting functions within the assay, mineralogy, and metallurgical laboratories. In this role, you are required to demonstrate a high attention to detail, QA/QC data quality, and testing & analysis of results following established procedures. You will also be responsible for reporting any issues that arise from daily activities that have the potential to negatively impact health, safety, production, or cost to the laboratory team or wider site.

  • Roster: Mon - Fri
  • Hours: 38 hr week with option for 9 Day compressed fortnight
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent.

About You:

The successful applicant will possess the following essential criteria:

  • Certificate IV in laboratory techniques desirable
  • Experience in ore processing plant, mineralogy, and/or chemical assay laboratories desirable
  • Forklift licence desirable
  • Current Manual NSW Drivers Licence essential
