The Opportunity:
This is an incredible career opportunity to lead and shape their fundraising and marketing strategy as they expand their impact across Central West NSW. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing initiatives that will drive sustainable growth in fundraising income, support their program expansions, and enhance donor engagement. You will work closely with the Executive Officer and be a key player in the strategic journey, ensuring that they continue to provide essential services to families in need.
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Marketing & Fundraising manager, with a strong knowledge of fundraising principles and systems, a track record of results, who is strategic and ready to get creative and innovative in reaching and increasing fundraising targets and reviewing revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and deliver an annual fundraising and marketing strategy aligned with their mission and goals.
- Donor Experience: Enhance donor experiences through relationship-based engagement, ensuring all supporters feel valued and connected to their cause.
- Digital and Major Donor Growth: Expand our digital presence and major donor portfolio, focusing on social media, website management, email campaigns, and major donor cultivation.
- Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and deliver strategic fundraising events, including new opportunities linked to our expanding programs, such as the Hospitality Cart Program in Dubbo.
- Corporate and Community Engagement: Develop and grow relationships with businesses, community groups, and McDonald's Licensees across Central West NSW to maximise revenue and expand our reach.
- Data and Systems Management: Implement and manage efficient systems for donor management, ensuring data-driven decision-making and timely communications with donors.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Executive Officer, Board, and other stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with organisational goals and program expansions.
What You'll Bring - Essential Criteria:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3-4 years Fundraising and Marketing background. Demonstrated success in fundraising and marketing, with a track record of leading initiatives that generate significant income growth.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and fundraising streams
- Have a demonstrated ability to manage and execute marketing and event programs and campaigns with the purpose to raise funds and awareness for a cause.
- Experience developing revenue streams and/ or maximising returns from existing streams
- Experience in building relationships with, and raising revenue from major donors
- Analytical skills to assess and report on activities undertaken
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting
- Ability to perform at public speaking functions
- Leadership Skills: Ability to mentor and lead a team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising and marketing strategies.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage donors, partners, and the community.
- Adaptability: A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
