About

Warrawagine Cattle Company is a privately owned operation managing around 30,000 head of cattle across two stations in the East Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Warrawagine Station, located between Marble Bar and Broome, is a dedicated breeding operation. Wallal Downs Station, on the West Coast, includes a Centre Pivot Irrigation complex for hay production and an integrated forage and backgrounding operation. Both stations operate with modern machinery and equipment, conducting all cattle work on motorbikes. Staff benefit from supportive management that welcomes all levels of experience and is committed to training and mentorship.

About the job:

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help grow lush hay and silage at Wallal Downs! A day in the life of one of our Farm Hands looks like:

  • Assist the Farm Manager across twelve 48-hectare pivots
  • Operate and maintain plant and equipment
  • Handle cattle with care and manage pivot grazing
  • Confidently ride a two-wheel motorbike
  • Maintain basic farm records
  • Bring a positive attitude and a hands-on approach

Please note:

  • 88-day visa holders are not suitable for these positions. However, longer-term Working Holiday visa holders with prior livestock experience are welcome to apply.
  • Warrawagine Cattle Company has a strict no pet policy.
