Estimator or Cost Administrator

Our Client is a successful family business established for over 20 plus years. The business is a Specialist Joinery firm with core business in office fit-outs for commercial and residential clients.The company takes pride on delivering a high standard quality finish and timely completion of all projects, size ranging from $200k to 1 mill in spend.

Current opportunity for a cost administrator / estimator to support estimation staff

Ideally, we are seeking someone with experience from commercial or residential fit-out or Joinery. Your knowledge will be in the measure and quote of various materials such as stainless steel fabrication, upholstery, stone and various other speciality materials for cut to size requirements.

Skills & Experience

* You will be able to read and interpret drawings

* Prepare pricing for materials and accessory items

* Understand and develop Scope of Works

* Work with suppliers and subcontractors

* Review RFT's and BOQ's

* Preparing Quotes

* Proficient in Excel, Word V2016 preferred & MS Outlook

* Understand various finishes such as steel, stone. laminate plastics & upholstery

To best suit the this position, you will ideally have an understanding of finishes and various materials used in joinery and fitout. You will have a high degree of common sense, work well as part of a small, dedicated and friendly team. Definitely be able to take initiative and most importantly take pride in your work.
