Byron Shire Council is looking for a dynamic and experienced Construction Coordinator to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality capital works projects. If you have a passion for infrastructure, leadership skills, and a drive to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role

As the Construction Coordinator, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of capital projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage. You'll lead a team of operational, technical, and supervisory staff while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

๐Ÿ”น Managing and supervising a team delivering capital works projects.
๐Ÿ”น Overseeing construction planning, scheduling, and delivery.
๐Ÿ”น Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
๐Ÿ”น Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
๐Ÿ”น Providing technical advice and leadership in road and infrastructure projects.
๐Ÿ”น Managing budgets, contracts, and resources effectively.

What We're Looking For

โœ… Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
โœ… Experience delivering capital works projects in roads, drainage, or civil infrastructure.
โœ… Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
โœ… Excellent problem-solving, budgeting, and project management skills.
โœ… A commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
โœ… Current Class C driver's licence and WorkCover General Construction Induction Certificate.
