Chief Financial Officer

Job description

Spinifex Recruiting has been engaged by a highly respected aged care organisation in the Orana region to appoint a CFO on a caretaker or interim basis. This role is being offered as an onsite or hybrid appointment - commencing in mid to late October.

This role supports the CEO in the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives across finance and administration. it also interacts and provides support and assistance at the Board level, while leading a small finance team.

Formal Qualifications Required

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting.
  • CPA or CA designation (or eligibility in 2024/25)
  • Capacity to provide high level Finance and Administration management support.
  • High level management competencies: Board level interaction, Strategic and Business Planning, Organisation Management, Project Management, Human Resources and Management Information Systems.
  • Working knowledge of a range of accounting packages with demonstrated high level competencies in Information Technology and Systems.
  • Ideally, a demonstrated knowledge of the Health and/or Aged Care Sectors including recurrent and capital funding, accreditation and industrial legislation.
