The Opportunity
They are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM Technician who has a passion for BIM, Design Technology and process improvement to join their Brisbane studio. As part of the national BIM team, you will collaborate with colleagues across their three studios, working on projects, collateral, and training initiatives that span the entire practice. You will be part of a cohesive, cross-studio team focused on driving innovation and consistency in BIM and design technology. On top of a competitive salary, the company offers great benefits and training support.
The Role
The role will assist with the development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows, and training, and will provide Revit model management and documentation support for mid to large scale projects, working with the national design technology manager based in a different studio who leads the BIM team, and with support from the BIM Studio Lead in the third studio. Responsibilities include:

- Support project teams with Revit model management, including setup, coordination, and ongoing maintenance for various architectural projects.
- Assist with cross-studio coordination to ensure consistency in BIM practices and high-quality project delivery across the three studios.
- Participate in national BIM initiatives, including the creation of project collateral and contributing to training programs for staff across all locations.
- Facilitate model coordination and clash detection using tools such as ACC/Navisworks and assist with interdisciplinary coordination.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows across the practice, actively identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting for Revit-related issues, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and best practices.
- Explore opportunities for automation and process improvement using Dynamo or other scripting tools
About You
With a degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Building Design/Architectural Technology, Architecture or Computational Design, you will have 3+ years' experience in a BIM or drafting role within an architectural environment. Additionally, you will have:
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, including experience in model management, documentation, and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, coordination processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on mid-to-large-scale projects and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to collaborate with and support teams across multiple studio locations.
- Familiarity with Dynamo, scripting, or parametric design tools is highly valued, as is knowledge and experience in Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
