Our Client

Okeview Pastoral is a family-run agribusiness managing a portfolio of properties across NSW. They employ regenerative practices, low-stress stock handling, and prioritise the well-being of their land, animals and people. Please note our client has a no working dog policy.



The Property

'Winderadeen,' spans 3,500 hectares and operates as a commercial cattle breeding enterprise. With approximately 1,500 Hereford cows, the focus is on producing premium, stress-free beef through sustainable practices.

Located between Canberra and Goulburn in Collector, the property is conveniently situated just 25 minutes from Goulburn. The charming town of Collector offers essential amenities, including a primary school and childcare services, with a bus service to Canberra for high school education. Additionally, the coast is just a two-hour drive away.



The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Farm Manager to join the team. This role supports the Farm Manager in daily operations and strategic planning, focusing on regenerative agriculture, livestock management and overall farm productivity. The Assistant Farm Manager plays a crucial role in leading and managing the farm team, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and values.



About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills:

  • Substantial experience with large livestock numbers.
  • Positive attitude, hard-working, and committed to excellence.
  • Proficient in data management and record keeping i.e. Agriwebb.
  • Commitment to the health and well-being of all livestock.
  • Ability to ensure all safety standards are adhered to.
  • Ability to provide support to Farm Manger in relation to livestock, cropping and pasture programs.
  • Willing to further education in regenerative ag and stock handling.
